The short answer
Yes—Turno documents inviting an existing cleaner as a non-marketplace connection. A native PMS workflow may also be enough: Hospitable documents teammate profiles, cleaning assignments, checklists and portal access. Confirm current plan entitlement and the cleaner’s preferred way of working.
Separate invitations from marketplace hiring
In Turno, an invitation connects a cleaner you already know; accepting a marketplace bid establishes a marketplace connection. That distinction changes subscription and payment conditions.
Editorial guidance: decide whether you need scheduling software, access to a new cleaner, or both before comparing prices.
Check the cleaner’s daily workflow
Editorial onboarding checklist: agree which account or app the cleaner will use, how jobs are accepted, where property instructions live, what to do when unavailable, and who reviews completion. Walk through one property together before rolling out the same process across the portfolio.
Hospitable’s teammate iCal feed is view-only: it can show assigned jobs, but accepting, rejecting and completing them requires its portal. A calendar view alone is not a complete job-management workflow.
Keep labor and payment charges separate
Paying an invited non-marketplace cleaner through Turno is optional. In-app payments incur fees; the help page describes US/Canada card payments and US-bank ACH with a $1.50 minimum, but does not publish current percentage rates. Marketplace cleaner payments must go through Turno.
Editorial checklist: confirm the agreed cleaning rate, payment timing, processing charges and responsibility for reviewing the invoice.
Check one property versus multiple properties
Turno has no platform subscription charge for a one-property account. Accounts with two or more billable properties normally require a paid subscription after the trial; confirm any conditional partner exemption; a billable property has an enabled non-marketplace teammate. Cleaning services and payment fees remain separate.
If your current PMS already covers the job, compare its supported workflow before adding a separate subscription.
Common questions
Must I hire a cleaner from a marketplace?
No. Turno documents inviting an existing cleaner. Confirm how that choice affects your account’s billable properties.
Can my cleaner use a calendar instead of a portal?
Hospitable’s calendar feed shows assigned work but cannot accept, reject or complete it. Check which actions your proposed calendar workflow supports.
Is paying my invited cleaner through Turno mandatory?
No. The current help page says non-marketplace payments through Turno are optional; marketplace cleaner payments are required to go through Turno.
