Model: Deadbolt Go DBX1 Satin Nickel / DBX2 Matte Black

Visit website

Deadbolt Go is US-sold hardware with offline algoPIN generation for paired supported devices. It is $139.99 USD in the US store; remote controls can need a separate powered online Bridge and automation can carry partner charges. Duration-code first-use and future-deletion limits matter, and exact current Go/PMS eligibility remains unconfirmed.

About igloohome Deadbolt Go

Deadbolt Go offers fingerprint, PIN, Bluetooth-key and mechanical-key entry. Its DBX1/DBX2 API listing supports algoPIN, which can generate guest codes without a live lock connection for paired supported hardware. Offline code generation is distinct from remote unlocking, immediate revocation and local custom-PIN provisioning. The US-store hardware offering does not prove every PMS partner supports Go.

Door fit, installation exposure and power

The US store displays Deadbolt Go hardware at $139.99 USD. It supports fingerprint, PIN, Bluetooth key and mechanical-key entry, four AA alkaline batteries and Type-C emergency power. Listed door fit is a 1⅜–2 inch swing door, 2⅛ inch bore and 2⅜ or 2¾ inch backset; listed rating is IP54 with an operating range of −4 to 122 °F. Hardware price is not installed cost. The vendor advises partially sheltered installation and says continuous wet-weather exposure can reduce lifespan. Up to 12 months battery life is an untested vendor estimate.

Offline PIN restrictions and local setup

algoPIN can generate codes without a live lock connection for paired supported devices. Duration codes lasting more than 24 hours require first use within their first 24 hours. Codes created with a start more than 256 hours ahead cannot be deleted; the whitelist/blacklist limit is 199 PIN codes. The lock still needs power, pairing and compatible hardware. Offline generation is different from remote unlocking or immediate remote revocation; first-use and future-deletion restrictions remain material.

Deadbolt Go distinguishes the owner Master PIN from guest algoPINs and custom PINs provisioned locally over Bluetooth. Bluetooth keys require the igloohome app and proximity to the lock. Guest PINs differ from the owner Master PIN. Remote algoPIN generation is separate from local custom-PIN provisioning and nearby Bluetooth-key use.

The API device list identifies Deadbolt Go DBX1 Satin Nickel and DBX2 Matte Black as supporting algoPIN. This is an API feature list dated July 16, 2025, rather than proof of every PMS workflow. The dated list proves named API feature support, rather than every current PMS connection or workflow.

Bridge-dependent remote functions

The US store displays Bridge at $83.99 USD. It uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and connects up to five compatible locks or accessories for remote controls and alerts; IoT Deadbolt is excluded. Bridge must be powered, online and within Bluetooth range. It is indoor equipment and is not required merely to generate algoPINs.

Provider setup and historical billing differences

Locks must first be paired locally over Bluetooth. Depending on the provider, integration uses prepaid slots with one slot per lock or a postpaid flow; the August 2026 instructions warn that some devices are unsupported by the new integration. Provider billing paths and device eligibility differ; the source explicitly warns some devices do not support its new integration.

The August 2021 slot-billing article describes an initial prorated payment, monthly renewal and cancellation before the following month. Those slot terms do not establish current postpaid active-lock terms. This is the historical prepaid-slot flow. The current active-lock postpaid pricing has separate terms and is not established by this older article.

Go differs from discontinued Deadbolt 2S

The US store labels Deadbolt 2S discontinued and replaced by Deadbolt 2E. Its compatibility and features are not evidence for Deadbolt Go. The statement establishes discontinuation and product identity only; 2S prices and integration features do not transfer to Go.

Connections and setup

Vendor Airbnb Connect workflow

The August 2024 igloohome Airbnb Connect article describes sending a PIN by Airbnb message one hour before check-in by default, with use required within 24 hours and expiry after the approved stay. This is a vendor integration description, separate from Airbnb’s native direct hardware connection. Its older free-trial statement conflicts with current paid integration pricing. Current price, exact Go eligibility and provider flow are unconfirmed; free automation is not established.

OwnerRez brand connection; Go eligibility unresolved

OwnerRez documents an igloohome brand integration using offline algoPIN or a Wi-Fi Bridge. The offline route lacks remote lock/unlock and battery/log information; Bridge operations require internet and Bluetooth range. Deadbolt Go is absent from its enumerated model list. A brand connection is not proof that Go works with OwnerRez, and absence from an explicitly non-exhaustive list is not proof of incompatibility. Exact Go eligibility remains unconfirmed.

Common questions

Can offline PINs be revoked at any future start time?

algoPIN can generate codes without a live lock connection for paired supported devices.

Does OwnerRez’s igloohome integration prove Go compatibility?

OwnerRez documents an igloohome brand integration using offline algoPIN or a Wi-Fi Bridge. The offline route lacks remote lock/unlock and battery/log information; Bridge operations require internet and Bluetooth range. Deadbolt Go is absent from its enumerated model list. A brand connection is not proof that Go works with OwnerRez, and absence from an explicitly non-exhaustive list is not proof of incompatibility. Exact Go eligibility remains unconfirmed.

Is a Bridge required to generate an algoPIN?

No live Bridge is required merely to generate algoPINs for paired supported devices. Remote control and alerts use a powered online Bridge within Bluetooth range; the lock itself still needs power.
