About Cleanster
Cleanster offers booking and payment for cleaning, or inviting an existing cleaner, with customizable checklists and before/after photos. Marketplace jobs depend on cleaner acceptance and availability; fulfillment and physical cleaning quality have not been independently tested.
Marketplace or your own cleaner
The team guide distinguishes marketplace cleaners from SaaS use with your own cleaners; invitations use email and owner/admin/support/view-only/cleaner permission roles. The April 2023 guide describes roles and invitations. Vendor descriptions of cleaner verification are not an independent vetting guarantee.
The VIP page advertises service in the USA, Canada and UK. Its table lists six- and twelve-month VIP options; its discount text conflicts with the table. USA, Canada and UK marketing does not establish coverage at every address. VIP commitments differ from software subscriptions; conflicting discounts are not a reliable current offer.
Job payments and booking fees
The payment guide describes saving a credit card under Account/Billing to activate the account or book a service. The January 2023 guide is not a live job quote or a complete list of current payment methods.
The booking-fee article says a booking fee appears in each booking's price breakdown, contributing to platform support and checks. The booking fee is separate from the SaaS subscription; its amount and any insurance coverage are not established by this article.
Changing a cleaning booking
The cancellation policy warns of charges for changes within 24 hours and no refunds for very short notice or inability to enter the property. The page has conflicting blanket and table fee amounts. The 2022 page mixes dollar and pound amounts and contradictory fees. A definitive current US penalty is not established; the applicable booking terms determine the charge.
Photo review and retention
Hosts can review before/after photos and videos, inspect timestamps and share an emailed link; the help page says photos automatically delete after 30 days. The guide dates from 2022; the current VIP page also describes the 30-day photo limit. Remote photo review is different from an onsite inspection.
Connections and setup
Lodgify
Lodgify setup instructions use the Public API token from Lodgify settings to connect Cleanster. The token setup does not establish Lodgify plan eligibility, all transferred fields, refresh timing or cancellation propagation.
Calendar import
When a direct API integration is unavailable, Cleanster documents importing a property's calendar URL and enabling automatic cleaner booking on guest checkout. Co-hosted Airbnb properties use iCal in this guide. Refresh timing and transferred fields are unspecified. Calendar import is different from API integration, and automatic booking still depends on cleaner availability.
